Autumn Careers Fairs

Tuesday 21st - Thursday 23rd October, 12 - 3 pm @ Octagon main hall

Join the biggest Careers Fair of the year to meet over 100 employers in a wide range of sectors – STEM, education, public sector, finance, marketing, business, legal services, and many more – discover your options, and find your next job opportunity!

Different employers are attending each day and looking to recruit for internships, placement years, and graduate jobs.

  • Days 1 and 2: open to all students, focusing on organisations in STEM sectors, including those offering non-STEM jobs such as management, marketing, finance, HR, and more.
  • Day 3:  open to all students, focusing on organisations in a wide variety of non-STEM sectors, including education, public sector, finance, marketing, business, legal services, and more.

Legal Careers Fair

Thurday 6th November, 3 - 6.30pm @ The Wave - Cornerstone Employability Hub

The School of Law and University of Law are hosting a Legal Careers Fair. Whether you're a law and criminology student or you're in another discipline and want to explore if a legal career could be for you, come along and meet local employers across the legal sector.

Our interactive careers talks and workshops are delivered by our friendly team of advisers, with many sessions supported by employer guests. We cover a wide range of topics to help you to explore, develop and act on your career, and we ensure that the content is constantly updated to reflect current trends and practices.

Employer events

Many organisations are keen to recruit from the University of Sheffield and our events provide you with unique opportunities to meet and get to know employers from a wide range of sectors. Our comprehensive programme includes careers fairs, networking and panel events, webinars, presentations, mock interviews and informal appointments to help you explore different careers and sectors, find out about organisations and their opportunities and develop your networks.
