Jasbirr Grover serves as the Sikh Faith Advisor for both the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University, where she supports students, staff, and alumni in exploring faith, identity, and creative well-being.

Originally from Punjab and born in Delhi, Jasbirr is a writer, life coach, and creative facilitator who blends Sikh spiritual wisdom with reflective writing, journaling, and doodling to nurture healing and self-discovery. She completed her Master’s in Creative Writing at Sheffield Hallam University, where her poetry collection Reflection of Life became an Amazon #1 Bestseller in Women & Spirituality, and she later shared the story behind this journey on BBC Radio Leeds.

Her writing has been featured by Sheffield Flourish - The Table Read Magazine - and in an Author Interview with Shelley Wilson - reflecting her dedication to storytelling as a path toward emotional and cultural healing.

A certified NLP Practitioner and Life Coach, Jasbirr blends spirituality, creativity, and emotional awareness in her work. She uses practices like journaling, doodling, and oracle card reflection to help individuals tune into their intuition, process emotions, and reconnect with their inner wisdom. Her approach encourages people to pause, reflect, and realign with their inner purpose — transforming challenges into growth and self-awareness.

She is also the founder of The Turban Lens Community Cinema, a mother–son initiative with her younger son, filmmaker Jagraj Singh. Together they explore culture, connection, and belonging through film and reflective storytelling. Their debut film poem Mistaken Identity — centred on Sikh identity and acceptance — has been screened at multiple venues, and they were invited to BBC Radio Sheffield to share about their movie and its message.

Jasbirr is available to meet with students, staff, and alumni to discuss spirituality, personal growth, and creative well-being. Appointments can be arranged via email.

Her areas of interest include:

• Sikh philosophy, Simran, Seva, and Sarbat da Bhalla

• Supporting emotional well-being through creativity, spirituality, and community connection

• Using reflective writing and doodling to help professionals find calm and balance beyond screen time

• Encouraging empathy and interfaith understanding through shared stories and conversations

Jasbirr finds joy in poetry, music, doodling, writing, movies, and storytelling, and in nurturing conversations that celebrate human connection, spirituality, and the beauty of inner growth.
