Smiles for miles at the Big Walk 2025 - well done to everyone involved!

The famed Sheffield community fundraising event was a huge success once again. Over 400 walkers and volunteers covered thousands of miles between them, supporting life-changing neurological disease research at the University.

Sheena graduated from the University in 1973 with a PhD in Medical Microbiology. She kept in contact with the University and remained a loyal supporter of student scholarships. Overall, Sheena donated £150,000 to the University.
