- Profile
-
I am a professor of alcohol policy in the Sheffield Addictions Research Group. My work largely focuses on the evaluation and appraisal of alcohol policies and their impact on public health using a broad range of quantitative approaches, including the design, development and adaptation of complex health economic models to understand the potential impact of future policy options. Throughout this work I have a strong interest in health inequalities, understanding the factors that shape these and the potential for public health policy to improve, or exacerbate these.
I joined SCHARR in June 2011 after graduating with a BSc in Mathematics from the University in Warwick, and completed an MSc in Health Economics and Decision Modelling within the department in 2013.
