I gained my PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham and my Master's degree in Materials Processing Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. My bachelor's degree in Material Forming and Control Engineering was gained from Taiyuan University of Technology.

Research interests
  • Innovative material forming technologies and process optimisation
  • Physical mechanism, analytical modelling and process prediction of material forming technologies
  • Deformation and failure analysis, constitutive and failure modelling
  • Relationship among materials processing history, microstructure, and properties
