I obtained my LLM from the University of Birmingham where I studied the right of self-defence and the use of force in Public International Law. At the University of Sheffield for my PhD, my research centres on the accountability of autonomous weapons systems (AWS). I am exploring how the doctrine of command responsibility relates to AWS and potential reforms within international criminal law and the laws of armed conflict.
