Ideas Bazaar

In the run up to Festival of the Mind in 2026, we are looking to bring together researchers and people from the region's creative community, to come up with new and exciting ways to highlight our research.

Ideas Bazaar 2025

If you're a University of Sheffield researcher looking for a creative partner, or a creative looking to collaborate with researchers – come along to the Ideas Bazaar and bring your ideas to life! This drop-in event will take place 10.30am-3pm on Wednesday 10 September 2025 in Mappin Hall.

Three people interact with two distinct art installations in a gallery setting. One person is peering into a wooden booth with red curtains, while two others stand nearby. To the left, there's a sculpture of a yellow flower on a wooden base, and on the right, a large screen displays an image of an elephant. The room is lit with soft blue and pink light.

Festival of the Mind 2026

The next Festival of the Mind will take place in Autumn 2026 in venues across Sheffield city centre. We anticipate that the festival will take place both in person and online.
