Student insight 2024/25: Contact hours are different. 3 hour tutorials in a classroom with less than 30 people rather than lectures and tutorials. A lot of group projects and presentations involved all throughout the courses. Quizzes throughout the courses exist and midterms are common. They may be online and open book or closed. There are also finals that could be virtual or in person.
Don't worry about having to share a room. It can work out well in splitting the cost for things like router, minifridge and aircon. Get used to not really being able to cook and instead eating in the hall canteens.
 - Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal
 -
Student insights 2024/25: The work is not extremely hard, but the workload can be quite intense. Time management is crucial.
Get involved as much as you can, it is an amazing university with so much to offer.
 - University of Lucerne, Switzerland
 -
Student insight 2024/25: They had simulations of real world business events. I had no tutorials like in Sheffield; most of the lectures were conducted in small classrooms.
 - University of Mannheim, Germany
 - University of Western Australia
 - University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, USA
 - Vienna University of Economics and Business, Austria
 -
Student insight 2024/25: Vienna University of Business and Economics was a fantastic university offering a vast number of different courses across a variety of different subjects! My personal favourites were Prevention of Financial Crime where I learnt about money laundering, and Leading Globally where I was taught by a former Red Bull worker who crafted red bull into what it is today! The facilities and university vibe was fantastic! Get involved with the EBN and go on trips and participate in activities and you'll have an amazing time!!
