- Profile
-
I started my lectureship at the Department of Civil and Structural Engineering in 2011 and moved to the Department of Geography in 2015.
Before Sheffield, I worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Nevada (2007-08) and University of Leeds (2009-11).
I completed my doctoral degree in environmental sciences from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Zurich in 2006.
- Research interests
-
Dr Menon's research interests encompass the physical, hydrological, and chemical processes that influence soil health. His recent work has concentrated extensively on toxic trace elements, particularly arsenic, examining its presence in the environment and its impact on the food chain.
He is the international coordinator of Arsenic in Rice Research Network (); and Associate Editor of the journal.
